Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied. The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for. The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage. Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health. Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Clicking on the “transfer tab”, players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear. The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process. An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19. Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with discounts. Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade. Requirements Upgrades to items allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens. The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely. Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics. For instance, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version. The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
